Tint colours the hair; henna colours the hair and stains the skin beneath it. Henna is the better choice for filling visible gaps.
Tint or henna?
A classic brow tint deposits colour on the brow hairs themselves, deepening fine or fair hairs so the whole brow reads fuller. It is quick, subtle and lasts around two to three weeks.
Henna goes a step further: alongside tinting the hair, it stains the skin underneath for a soft powder-fill effect. That skin stain is what makes henna so good at disguising sparse patches, and it can last up to two weeks on the skin and longer on the hair.
